Bad Genius tells the story of Lynn (Chutimon Chuengcharoensukying), a top secondary school student who lives at home with her father. She is accepted into a very prestigious school and is able to earn a scholarship because of her academic achievements. It is there that she befriends the well-willing but not so academically talented Grace (Eisaya Hosuwan). Lynn helps Grace to cheat on the school exams, for money, to score better grades. Through Grace, she is approached by Pat (Teeradon Supapunpinyo), Grace’s rich boyfriend and slowly but surely she ends up helping a lot of students to score better with the tests for payment. Even though they are discovered by Bank (Chanon Santinatornkul) and outed to the school board, they decided to cheat on the STIC —an international standardized test for university admissions— for which they need the help of Bank and all others to be part of their scheme. A nerve-wracking international race against the clock ensues as they depart to Australia to do the tests whilst keeping their constituents in Thailand up to date. Will they make it?

The acting performances were very believable and real. There is absolutely no overacting. We are introduced to two characters who come from families who do not have the highest incomes, but they are smart and intelligent. Besides that, we get to know two rich and obliviously spoiled characters, who believe that money can buy them anything. Even good grades and cheating an international standardized university exam. There’s no doubt that the actors play their roles well. Even though they all looked a bit too perfect, looks wise. But nonetheless, their magic is placed in the believability that they maintained and the feeling of excitement, adrenaline, and nervosity that they raise in you as a spectator.

The cinematography of this film is very accurate and fitting for the telling of this story. The cinematography maintained a fast-paced rhythm especially around the most exciting scenes, which enhanced the thrill of the story, but also the feeling that so many things could go wrong. Forcing you to sit on the edge of your seat while you hope that their plans succeed.

Bad Genius is a must-see movie that will absolutely blow your mind away. If you are too stuck in Hollywood cinema and western culture films you should definitely give this film a chance because this masterpiece will make you appreciate Asian cinema a lot more. Go back to school with this film and join it’s ride because never ever has mathematics and school exams been so thrilling and exciting.

The Review and Moral Value of Film 5cm

Title                     : 5cm
Genre                   : Fiction
Director               : Rizal Mantovani
Year                     : 2012
Stars                     : Zafran (Herjunot Ali),
     Genta (Fedy Nuril),
     Riani (Raline Shah),
     Arial (Denny Sumargo),
    Ian (Igor Saykoji)
The story started by introducing the setting of the movie. It was around Cikini ( Chicken Porridge Seller), In this place a story about friendship grew for many years. It was about a friendship between five different persons they were Zafran ( Herjunot Ali), Arial (Denny Sumargo), Ian (Igor Saykoji), Riani (Raline Shah), Genta (Fedi Nuril). Each of them has different characters for example: Arial, he was look like a Rambo and always brought ketchup every where he go. Ian, he was fat and like to eat noodles and always watched porn movies . Riani, the most beautiful woman between them, she likes to drink noodles soup that she asked from Ian. Zafran, he was a poem lover. And the last is Genta, he has a good live and a good work.
And the next, the movie continued to Arial’s house. They met with arial’s parents and arial’s sister, her name is Arinda she usually called Dinda. Zafran fell in love with Zafran at the first sight. They usually gathered in the Arial’s  garden house.  There Genta told to his friend about his idea, he asked his friends to go out from the box for three months. And then they dealt for three months without any communication between them until Genta give an information about where they will suppose to meet again and Genta promised to invite his friends to do something in some place so they can get unforgettable experience that they ever had.
After three months later, finally Genta contact his friends and made an appointment to meet in Senen Train Station, there they don’t have any idea about what will be happen until they arrived in a strange location for them. It was Sumeru Mountain. One week before they meet, Genta asked his friends to bring some hiking equipments such as: carier, tent, lamp, some snack and do small exercise before they go. They started their adventure and continued the journey to Bromo and then they started to climb the highest mountain In Java Island, Mahameru Mountain. Their journey was not well, they met some problems, Zafran’s leg suddenly bleeding, they had lack of water in the middle of journey, Arial almost died because of the worst cold. Arinda and Ian hit some rocks from the top of the mountain. Arinda’s ears bleeding until she couldn’t hear anything, and Ian had unconscious and it made his friends panic and predicted that he was died. After they fought with a great problems finally they can reach the top of Mahameru Mountain, they flagged the Indonesian’s flag there.

I like this movie because it introduced each of the characters by taking unique point of view, it makes the audience can feel the joy of the movie. Especially when introducing Ian with his noodles and porn movies . The friendship between them is filled with love story during their journey to Mahameru Mountain, it was so funny and full of love. The movie was good and funny but the story is not too deep. Especially about nationalism messages. The love story is not clear so the audience still confused and not satisfied, because the movie is not full just like the novel. But this movie is worth to be watched for relaxing and to open our mind about how beautiful is Indonesia.

  • Kim Sang-ho as Han Gwang-sik, Dong-hoon's best friend
  • Ra Mi-ran as Young-seok's mother and Gwang-sik's wife
  • Yang Jin-sung as Do-kyung, police officer
  • Kim Do-yeob as Han Young-seok

A young girl named So-won lives an idyllic life with her working class parents Dong-hoon and Mi-hee. One day on her way to school, So-won is kidnapped, beaten and raped by a male stranger before being left for death. Fortunately, she survives and is able to call an ambulance.
The police notify Dong-hoon and Mi-hee of the attack and they rush to the emergency ward. Upon their arrival at the hospital, they are horrified by the extent of So-won's injuries. So-won suffers from multiple internal injuries and has to undergo major surgeries. Dong-hoon is advised by a surgeon that So-won will have to wear a colostomy bag for the rest of her life. Once So-won regains consciousness, she is able to identify her attacker with the help of Jung-sook, a psychiatrist.
So-won's attacker is arrested at his home, and the case becomes a media sensation much to the horror of her family and friends. When the reporters converge at the hospital, Dong-hoon takes So-won to a different room and hides her from the media attention. So-won exhibits symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder and briefly mistakes her father for her attacker, screaming at him as he tries to fix her colostomy bag. Dong-hoon is heartbroken by this episode, and is further hurt when So-won refuses to look at him or speak to him.
Mi-hee initially refuses psychological help for her daughter as she wishes for So-won to resume her normal life. However, she relents after understanding her daughter's mental state and enlists the help of Jung-sook. Dong-hoon struggles to pay for medical expenses and calls his friend and manager, Gwang-sik, with the intent of quitting his job to help take care of his family.
The film is based on a true story, the infamous Nayoung Case in 2008, in which an 8-year-old girl, named "Na-young" in the Korean press, was raped and beaten by a drunk 57-year-old man in a public toilet. The court sentenced the man to only 12 years in prison, which caused outrage in the country due to the brutality of the crime and the man's history of physical and sexual violence.

The only thing that I want to say is that you should watch this movie. And if you don't watch it, be regret :( I cried a lot, the acting was incredible, totally love the girl. In my thoughts, this may be a movie about father and daughter and I was completely fallen for it! How poor the little girl was, I can't imagine what she had been through! Her acting was very good, I even thought she had really been through that tragedy. And her Father was really really a emotional man, not like what I thought he would be at the beginning! He made me think of my Father and I just cried a lot!

PRONOUNS

What is a pronoun?

  • A pronoun (I, me, he, she, herself, you, it, that, they, each, few, many, who, whoever, whose, someone, everybody, etc.) is a word that takes the place of a noun. In the sentence Joe saw Jill, and he waved at her, the pronouns he and her take the place of Joe and Jill, respectively. There are three types of pronouns: subject (for example, he); object (him); or possessive (his).

Rule 1. Subject pronouns are used when the pronoun is the subject of the sentence. You can remember subject pronouns easily by filling in the blank subject space for a simple sentence.
Example: ___ did the job.
I, he, she, we, they, who, whoever, etc., all qualify and are, therefore, subject pronouns.
Rule 2. Subject pronouns are also used if they rename the subject. They will follow to be verbs, such as is, are, was, were, am, will be, had been, etc.
Examples:
It is he.
This is she speaking.
It is we who are responsible for the decision to downsize.

NOTE
In informal English, most people tend to follow to be verbs with object pronouns like me, her, them. Many English scholars tolerate this distinction between formal and casual English.
Example: It could have been them.
Technically correct: It could have been they.
Example: It is just me at the door.
Technically correct: It is just I at the door.

Rule 3. This rule surprises even language watchers: when who refers to a personal pronoun (I, you, he, she, we, they), it takes the verb that agrees with that pronoun.
Correct: It is I who am sorry. (I am)
Incorrect: It is I who is sorry.
Correct: It is you who are mistaken. (you are)
Incorrect: It is you who's mistaken.

Rule 4. In addition to subject pronouns, there are also object pronouns, known more specifically as direct object, indirect object, and object of a preposition (for more detail, see the definition of a verb in the Finding Nouns, Verbs, and Subjects section). Object pronouns include me, him, herself, us, them, themselves.
Examples:
Jean saw him.
Him is the direct object of the verb saw.

Give her the book.
The direct object of give is book, and her is the indirect object. Indirect objects always have an implied to or for in front of them: Give [to] her the book. Do [for] me a favor.

Are you talking to me?
Me is the object of the preposition to.

Rule 5. The pronouns who, that, and which become singular or plural depending on the subject. If the subject is singular, use a singular verb. If it is plural, use a plural verb.
Example: He is the only one of those men who is always on time.
The word who refers to one. Therefore, use the singular verb is.
Sometimes we must look more closely to find a verb's true subject:
Example: He is one of those men who are always on time.
The word who refers to men. Therefore, use the plural verb are.
In sentences like this last example, many would mistakenly insist that one is the subject, requiring is always on time. But look at it this way: Of those men who are always on time, he is one.

Rule 6. Pronouns that are singular (I, he, she, everyone, everybody, anyone, anybody, no one, nobody, someone, somebody, each, either, neither, etc.) require singular verbs. This rule is frequently overlooked when using the pronouns each, either, and neither, followed by of. Those three pronouns always take singular verbs. Do not be misled by what follows of.
Examples:
Each of the girls sings well.
Either of us is capable of doing the job.
Neither of them is available to speak right now.
Exception: When each follows a noun or pronoun in certain sentences, even experienced writers sometimes get tripped up:
Incorrect: The women each gave her approval.
Correct: The women each gave their approval.
Incorrect: The words are and there each ends with a silent vowel.
Correct: The words are and there each end with a silent vowel.
These examples do not contradict Rule 6, because each is not the subject, but rather an adjunct describing the true subject.

Rule 7. To decide whether to use the subject or object pronoun after the words than or as, mentally complete the sentence.
Examples:
Tranh is as smart as she/her.
If we mentally complete the sentence, we would say Tranh is as smart as she is. Therefore, she is the correct answer.

Zoe is taller than I/me.
Mentally completing the sentence, we have Zoe is taller than I am.

Daniel would rather talk to her than I/me.
We can interpret this sentence in two ways: Daniel would rather talk to her than to me. OR Daniel would rather talk to her than I would. A sentence's meaning can change considerably, depending on the pronoun you choose.

Rule 8. The possessive pronouns yours, his, hers, its, ours, theirs, and whose never need apostrophes. Avoid mistakes like her's and your's.

Rule 9. The only time it's has an apostrophe is when it is a contraction for it is or it has. The only time who's has an apostrophe is when it means who is or who has. There is no apostrophe in oneself. Avoid "one's self," a common error.
Examples:
It's been a cold morning.
The thermometer reached its highest reading.
He's the one who's always on time.
He's the one whose wife is always on time.
Keeping oneself ready is important.

Rule 10. Pronouns that end in -self or -selves are called reflexive pronouns. There are nine reflexive pronouns: myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, oneself, ourselves, yourselves, and themselves.
Reflexive pronouns are used when both the subject and the object of a verb are the same person or thing.
Example: Joe helped himself.
If the object of a preposition refers to a previous noun or pronoun, use a reflexive pronoun:
Example: Joe bought it for himself.
Reflexive pronouns help avoid confusion and nonsense. Without them, we might be stuck with sentences like Joe helped Joe.
Correct: I worked myself to the bone.
The object myself is the same person as the subject I, performing the act of working.
Incorrect: My brother and myself did it.
Correct: My brother and I did it.
Don't use myself unless the pronoun I or me precedes it in the sentence.
Incorrect: Please give it to John or myself.
Correct: Please give it to John or me.
Correct: You saw me being myself.
Myself refers back to me in the act of being.
A sentence like Help yourself looks like an exception to the rule until we realize it's shorthand for You may help yourself.
In certain cases, a reflexive pronoun may come first.
Example: Doubting himself, the man proceeded cautiously.
Reflexive pronouns are also used for emphasis.
Example: He himself finished the whole job.

Rule 11. The use of they and their with singular pronouns is frowned upon by many traditionalists. To be consistent, it is a good practice to try to avoid they and its variants (e.g., them, their, themselves) with previously singular nouns or pronouns.
Not consistent: Someone has to do it, and they have to do it well.
The problem is that someone is singular, but they is plural. If we change they to he or she, we get a rather clumsy sentence, even if it is technically correct.
Technically correct: Someone has to do it, and he or she has to do it well.
Replacing an inconsistent sentence with a poorly written one is a bad bargain. The better option is to rewrite.
Rewritten: Someone has to do it, and has to do it well.
Many writers abhor the he or she solution. Following are more examples of why rewriting is a better idea than using he or she or him or her to keep sentences consistent.
Inconsistent: No one realizes when their time is up.
Awkward: No one realizes when his or her time is up.
Rewritten: None realize when their time is up.
Inconsistent: If you see anyone on the trail, tell them to be careful.
Awkward: If you see anyone on the trail, tell him or her to be careful.
Rewritten: Tell anyone you see on the trail to be careful.

Rule 12. When a pronoun is linked with a noun by and, mentally remove the and + noun phrase to avoid trouble.
Incorrect: Her and her friend came over.
If we remove and her friend, we're left with the ungrammatical Her came over.
Correct: She and her friend came over.
Incorrect: I invited he and his wife.
If we remove and his wife, we're left with the ungrammatical I invited he.
Correct: I invited him and his wife.
Incorrect: Bill asked my sister and I.
If we remove my sister and, we're left with the ungrammatical Bill asked I.
Correct: Bill asked my sister and me.

Rule 13. If two people possess the same item, and one of the joint owners is written as a pronoun, use the possessive form for both.
Incorrect: Maribel and my home
Incorrect: Mine and Maribel's home
Correct: Maribel's and my home
Incorrect: he and Maribel's home
Incorrect: him and Maribel's home
Correct: his and Maribel's home
Incorrect: you and Maribel's home
Incorrect: yours and Maribel's home
Correct: Maribel's and your home
Note: As the above examples demonstrate, when one of the co-owners is written as a pronoun, use possessive adjectives (my, your, her, our, their). Avoid possessive pronouns (mine, yours, hers, ours, theirs) in such constructions.

How To Make Avocado Mask for Dry Skin

Step 1:
Mash up an avocado
Use a sharp knife to cut an avocado in half, and remove the pit. Scoop out the avocado flesh from one half of the fruit, and place it in a bowl. Mash the avocado with a fork until it’s fairly smooth.
  • If the avocado is small, you may want to scoop out the flesh from both halves to use for your mask. You should have enough for a mask that you can spread all over your face.

Step 2:
Mix the avocado with the yogurt, olive oil, and honey
Once you’ve mashed the avocado, add 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of plain yogurt, 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of olive oil, and 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of organic honey to the bowl. Use a spoon to fully combine all of the ingredients in a smooth paste.
  • If the mask seems runny and you’ve only added half of the avocado, mix in some more of the flesh to thicken it up.
  • The omega fatty acids in the avocado and olive oil help heal cracks between the skin cells that can occur when your skin is dehydrated.
  • Honey and yogurt are soothing ingredients that help moisturize and soften the skin.

Step 3:
Apply the mask and let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes
When the mask is fully mixed, use your fingers to carefully spread it all over your face. Allow the mask to sit on your skin for 15 to 20 minutes so the omega fatty acids in the avocado and olive oil have time to penetrate.
  • Be careful when you’re applying the mask around your hairline. The honey can be very sticky if it gets in your hair.

Step 4:
Wash the mask off with warm water
When you’ve let the mask sit on your skin for at least 15 minutes, rinse it off with warm water from the sink. Because the mask can be fairly sticky, you may want to use a washcloth to help remove it.
  • Be sure to rinse especially well along your hairline.

How To Make Honey and Aloe Vera Gel For Hair Growth

Benefits Of Aloe Vera For Hair

A lot of people frequently ask me “is aloe vera good for your hair?” And “what does aloe vera do for your hair?” The answer to the first question is—Yes! Aloe vera is great for your hair! I might sound like I’m exaggerating here, but aloe vera is one of the most magical and beneficial ingredients you could put in your hair. Don’t believe me? You don’t have to. But you can’t dispute these facts:
  • Aloe vera contains proteolytic enzymes, which help heal and repair the damaged cells in your scalp. This improves the health of the hair follicles and indirectly boosts healthy and faster hair growth.
  • Not only does the proteolytic enzyme help heal the scalp, but it also helps stimulate dormant hair follicles, promoting hair regrowth.
  • It also helps curb hair fall and controls hair shedding, ensuring that your hair remains thick and voluminous.
  • It has anti-inflammatory properties that help soothe your scalp of irritation and aggravation.
  • Its antifungal and antiviral properties to treat dandruff and flaking.
  • Aloe vera’s high content of protein, vitamins, and minerals help it nourish your follicles and hair efficiently.
  • The moisture content of aloe vera helps condition your hair, locking in nutrients and hydration.

  • How To Make Honey and Aloe Vera For Hair Growth

Ingredients:
  • 5 tbsp Aloe Vera Gel
  • 3 tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • Shower Cap

Process:

  1. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients until you get a smooth mixture.
  2. Start by massaging this mixture into your scalp and then work it down to the tips of your hair. Focus on the tips as these are the most damaged parts of your hair.
  3. Once all of your hair is covered in the mixture, throw a shower cap on and wait for about 25 minutes.
  4. Wash your hair with cool water and shampoo. Finish with conditioner.

Why This Works

Coconut oil and honey make an excellent conditioning combination which helps seal moisture to your hair shafts. This mask will contribute to maintaining your hair, so you won’t have to get trims as often, letting you retain your hair’s length.
